Who we are
The curriculum is carefully designed to equip students with the critical skills they’ll need to excel in the workplace. It starts with language training, focusing on English to ensure students can communicate effectively on a global scale. Digital skills form a crucial part of the curriculum, with training in tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, which are essential for everyday work tasks. But it doesn’t stop there—students also dive into more advanced areas like Canva for design, basic coding, cybersecurity, and data analytics. These are the skills that will make them competitive in tomorrow’s job market.
Leadership development is another core component of the program, helping students build soft skills like communication, public speaking, and conflict management. These skills are vital for thriving in team environments and for leading future projects and organizations. They also learn how to pitch ideas effectively, manage stress, and deal with challenges in high-pressure environments.
One of the unique aspects of Students@Heart is its focus on entrepreneurship. Through activities like small hackathons, students get hands-on experience in formulating ideas, business planning, and bringing their concepts to life. This gives them a chance to think creatively and learn how to approach challenges from an innovative perspective. The program is designed not just to educate, but to holistically develop students into well-rounded professionals, capable of contributing to their communities and industries in meaningful ways. It’s a forward-thinking initiative that’s shaping the future of Cambodia by investing in the potential of its youth. And the best part is, it’s an initiative open to all – both boys and girls – with specific programs and initiatives tailored to each group’s unique needs and challenges.
In short, Students@Heart is providing the opportunity of a lifetime to Cambodia’s brightest young minds, ensuring they have the skills, confidence, and resources to succeed in the modern world.
